Your holiday location
In the centre of the Ötztal, Tyrol, between Umhausen and Sölden, there is a 20km-long valley floor.
Surrounded by the giants of the Ötztal and Stubai Alps, Längenfeld is located in the lush green meadows of the valley basin.
The settlement structure is particularly striking. Numerous small villages and hamlet line along the valley floor.
These quaint Tyrolean settlements are what make Längenfeld so special.
Many tourists succumb to this charm every year, 570,000 overnight stays show that the region around the “Lange Feld” (long field) is ideal for sports and recreation, not only in the winter. In the summer there are numerous opportunities for hiking tours, mountaineering tours and mountain bike tours.
In the winter, Längenfeld is the best-possible base for getting to the famous ski areas of Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. Numerous cross-country skiing trails criss-cross the valley basin.
Despite the tourism, Längenfeld and its hamlets are still very rural.
